TeaPeople is a shared map and journal for people who love tea. Using it means agreeing to a few plain things — mostly, be kind.

Be a good guest

• Add real places and honest words. No spam, no fake listings, no scraping the map.
• Be warm to other people here. Harassment, hate, or posting someone else's private details isn't welcome and will get an account removed.
• Only claim a teahouse you actually run.

What you add

Teahouses, journal stories, photos, messages — you're responsible for what you post, and you keep ownership of it. By posting, you let us show it on TeaPeople. We may edit or remove anything that doesn't fit (off-topic, unsafe, or not a real teahouse), and we keep the map honest by flagging places that may not be teahouses.

Friend status & payments

Becoming a Friend is an optional monthly subscription handled by Stripe. You can cancel any time from your billing portal; it stops at the end of the paid period.

The honest small print

TeaPeople is offered as-is, with care but no guarantees — map data comes partly from OpenStreetMap and from people like you, so it won't be perfect. We're not liable for a closed teahouse or a cold pot. We may change these terms as the project grows; we'll keep them this readable.
